: Greater Yogyakarta Area : :
This area encompasses the areas of Yogyakarta that fall outside
the immediate vicinity of Jl. Malioboro.
Within this area most hotels are located along one main road that
changes its name four times along the route - east from the intersection
of Jl. Mangkubumi and Jl. Sudirman (Tugu Momument) the road changes
from Jl. Sudirman to Jl. Sumoharjo then into Jl. Adisucipto as it
approaches the airport and then finally Jl. Solo as it heads east
to Solo and Surakarta.
As such, access to and from the aiport, city and tourist destinations
outside the city is quick and easy.
FYI, in order to remain objective, hotels are listed in alphabetical
order. We don't favor any hotel for any reason.
